Every Inning League is fast-paced baseball experience built for fun, hustle, and pressure-tested moments. It's a fan-first format where the game never drags and every kid gets to be the star. It's inspired by the kind of baseball getting kids more involved in the game, a style that's reshaping baseball entertainment, adapted from the ground up to be safe, fair, and developmentally right for 9–12 year olds.
The format does two things at once. It's a blast to play and watch. There will be dances, challenges, parent at-bats, walk-off drama every inning (fingers crossed). It will quietly teach the things that matter: performing under pressure, picking up a teammate after a strikeout, competing hard and smiling while you do it.
Loud on the outside, intentional underneath.
Let's go!
Scoring — Every Inning Counts
This is the heart of it. Each inning is its own mini-game: score more runs than your opponent in an inning and your team earns 1 league point. Tie the inning, no point. The team with the most points wins. It's not total runs. A team loses an inning 5–0 are never out of it (it's just one point).
1. Every Inning Counts. Each inning is a standalone game worth 1 point — most points wins. To keep games close and fair, a maximum of 5 runs may score per inning; once the fifth run crosses the plate, the inning is over and the next team is up.
2. Beat the Clock. Games run 5 innings or 75 minutes, whichever comes first. No new inning starts after the 75-minute mark. Keeps energy high and fields turning over.
3. Stay in the Box. Batters keep a foot in the box and stay ready between pitches — no wandering. Step out without calling time and it's a strike. Teaches focus and pace.
4. Swing Away (No Bunting). This is a swing-and-celebrate league. A bunt attempt is a dead ball and a strike. (In the pro version bunting gets you ejected, here it's just a strike. We keep it light.) We use a Blue Flame pitching machine. Most pitches are going to be strikes.
5. Steal First. A batter can take off for first base on any pitch that gets past the catcher (passed ball or wild pitch), even before strike three or ball four. Beat the throw and you're on. Rewards heads-up hustle.
6. No Walks (It's a Sprint). No free passes. On ball four, the batter drops the bat and runs, and the ball stays live until every defender on the field has touched it. The batter and any runners take as many bases as they dare until that happens. The most boring play in baseball becomes a scramble.
7. Fan's Got It. A foul ball caught on the fly by a fan in the seating area is an out. Suddenly every foul ball is a moment and the whole crowd is in the game. (Safety: fans reach, never dive, and stay in the designated seating area.)
8. Trick Plays Matter. Fundamentals when needed, tricks when you have time and need points. The team with the most trick play points going into the 5th inning get an extra game point.
8. Keep It Moving. To protect the pace, run on and off the field.
9. The Showdown. If the game is tied on points when the clock hits zero, settle it one-on-one: one pitcher, one catcher, one hitter. The hitter gets a set number of pitches to put a ball in play and score; the pitcher and a single fielder try to get the out. Highest scorer takes the game.

These are the elements that make Every Inning League an experience and not just another baseball game.
Clutch Hitter. Once per game, a team can call "Clutch Hitter!" and send any batter they want to the plate, regardless of the batting order.
Parent Batter. Once per game, each team sends one parent to the plate for a single at-bat of pure joy and chaos. Parent runs the bases or a designated player courtesy-runs; and the parent must bat opposite their strong hand (Safety and comedy in one moment).
Lip-Syncs & Dance Breaks. Walk-up lip-syncs, dugout dances, a dancing first-base coach, choreographed celebrations. Every team gets a signature dance. Encouraged, never mandatory (maybe kinda expected).
Celebrate Everything. Bat flips welcome. Big celebrations encouraged. And the rule that ties it all together: you pick your teammate up after a strikeout, every time.

No head coaches, no assistant coaches--just coaches. At practice, each of us owns a station and every team rotates through all of us.
On game day we split duties. The kids get the best of every coach here, and no parent-coach dynamics ever favor one roster.
